WELP! You know why I’m here.
The Philadelphia Eagles and Jalen Hurts won the Super Bowl. And they didn’t just win it, they DEMOLISHED the Kansas City Chiefs as soon as they stepped foot onto the field.
For a team that was looking to make history by winning 3 Super Bowls in a row, the Chiefs played like a high school JV team. They didn’t even get any points on the board until the 3rd quarter. I slept through everything, but when I woke up, the score was 14-40 and I was SHOCKED! Who was this team from Kansas City and what did they do with the players from last year?
I don’t like to kick people when they’re down (sometimes), so let’s focus on what really matters: Jalen Hurts. He won Super Bowl MVP while looking fine as hell (I’m looking respectfully because he has a beautiful Black fiancee and I’m not trying to break up a happy home).
But if he wasn’t already fine and successful enough, he’s also a good big brother.

Kendrick’s half-time show was great. From the start with Samuel L. Jackson as Uncle Sam all the way to the end.
My favorite part had to be the Serena Williams cameo during Not Like Us. They killed Drake, buried him, and then Serena came out and C-walked on his grave.
Supposedly, Drake and Serena dated on/off from 2011 - 2015. In 2016, Serena met her husband Alexis and they got married the following year, but that doesn’t mean Drake has left her alone. 1-2 years ago, Drake released a song where he refers to Alexis as a “groupie.”
Loser behavior.

Pre-sale tickets for Beyonce’s tour were released on my birthday this week (she also released Sixteen Carriages and Texas Hold ‘Em on my birthday last year, solidifying my place as her favorite). I’m not only in a no-buy February, I’m also broke at the moment, so I will not be buying tickets. Y’all have fun though.

Remember how I told you all I was going to see that new movie, The Companion? GO SEE IT RIGHT NOW. Those twists and turns were twisting and turning. It’s one of those movies you can’t describe or else you’ll give the plot away, but the trailer came nowhere close to spoiling the movie. In fact, the trailer tells you very little. It wasn’t until the 3rd quarter of the movie when I realized I had been holding in my breath and my heart was racing until the very end, and a bit after. One of my favorite reviews comes from Ohioan BJ Colangelo:
“Simply put, the tech industry has always been filled with a bunch of pathetic losers who can’t get laid and have decided to make it all of our problems while simultaneously deeming themselves the arbiters of women’s value, so a film like Companion is a life raft to cling to as we all desperately try to keep ourselves from drowning in the fascist tech-broligarchy of Trump’s second administration.”
